🧬 Club Academies

Every Footium club has an Academy that produces youth talent. As players retire at age 32, your Academy is the main way to bring in the next generation of stars.

👶 New Prospects Each Season

Each season, your Academy presents 7 new youth players, aged 16–18
Prospects are visible in your Club Academy tab
You can choose to mint (sign) them into your squad which allows them to play in matches, be trained & sold.

⚠️ Academy players expire at the end of the season if not signed — they do not carry over!

💰 Minting Costs

The cost to mint Academy players depends on your Division
Higher Divisions have higher costs but typically stronger players
Rare Academy players have a fixed price across all Divisions

📈 Academy Quality

The higher your Division, the better the prospects
All clubs have a chance to receive Rare youth players
- Lower Divisions have reduced chances
- Rare prospects can reach Elite levels of potential

💡 Minted Academy players are your club’s own creations — they come with no history and full potential to develop
