π Footium Player Card Guide
Every Footium player comes with a unique Player Card containing key info to help you make smart squad decisions. Letβs break it all down:
π Whatβs on a Player Card?
Each card shows:
- π€ Player Name & Nationality
Adds flavour and identity β currently cosmetic, but may have future gameplay uses.
- π Age
Players age each season and retire at 32. Younger players usually have more potential left to unlock.
- π Top 1β3 Positions + Ratings
A playerβs top position is always shown, plus up to two secondary roles if their ratings are close.
π Potential Breakdown
- Unlocked Potential β Whatβs still available to unlock through matches or coaching.
- Used Potential β Whatβs already been gained.
- Total Potential β The max growth possible, shown on every card.
π§ Position Ratings
Players are generated with a top-rated position but also have secondary ratings across the pitch. These drop off for less relevant roles.
ποΈ Rarity Tiers & Progression
Footium players fall into 5 rarity types, each shown with a card colour:

𧬠Rarity Progression Rules
- Common β Bronze β Silver β Gold
Players can evolve through rarities as their rating improves.
- Rare and Legend cards never change
These cards are locked rarities based on their potential β not their current rating.
- Rare players always stay Rare, even if they're low-rated today.
- Legendary players always stay Legendary.
π Chemistry Bonus
- Rare cards give a boost to Team Chemistry.
- Legendary cards give a major boost.
