🗃️ Season-Long Player Contracts

Footium’s system locks players in for a full season once registered.

📌 Once a player is registered to a club, they’re committed to it for the rest of the season even if purchased by another club unless they are unregistered.

You can’t:

Swap them between clubs you own
Train them if they’re registered but not owned by you
Unregister them unless it’s during a valid window

You can:

Sell a player — but the new owner can’t register them until a valid window (unless they become a Free Agent)
Train and play players you both own and have registered

At the end of each season:

All registered players that aren’t owned by their club are automatically unregistered.
You can rebuild squads in the next Unlimited Window.

This creates strategic decision-making and stability during the season.
