๐Ÿ“š Understanding Chemistry

Success in Footium doesnโ€™t just come down to player ratings, team chemistry plays a role in how your squad performs on matchday.

๐Ÿ” Fittedness & Position Ratings

Each player has different levels of "fittedness" to various positions. This is reflected in colour-coded position ratings:

  • ๐ŸŸข Dark Green (Natural Position) โ€“ Highest rating, player is most comfortable
  • ๐ŸŸข Light Green (Secondary Position) โ€“ Slightly lower rating, still very effective
  • ๐ŸŸก Tertiary Position โ€“ Usable, but with performance penalties
  • ๐ŸŸ  Quaternary Position โ€“ Lower performance, noticeable impact
  • ๐Ÿ”ด Unfit Position โ€“ Major penalties to performance

You can improve a playerโ€™s fittedness to a position through training.

โš—๏ธ Team Chemistry

Your lineupโ€™s chemistry is directly affected by how many players are playing in positions they're comfortable with:

  • Green positions help maintain strong chemistry
  • Yellow, orange, and red positions lower chemistry โ€” the worse the colour, the greater the impact
  • The more players out of position, the worse your team will perform

๐Ÿงช The penalty is capped eventually, but it's best to minimise out-of-position players when possible.

๐ŸŒŸ Extra Boost to Chemistry

You can boost chemistry by using:

  • Rare Players โ€“ Small teamwide chemistry bonus
  • Legendary Players โ€“ Larger teamwide bonus

Use these key players wisely to offset a few out-of-position risks or maximise synergy with your ideal starting XI. It's not public how many different levels of chemistry there are for your squad.. see if you can find the best one!
