💬 What Happens When You Buy a Club Mid-Season

When you buy a club in the middle of the season, you take over its full squad, but there are some rules.

What you inherit:

All currently registered players, even if you don’t own them

What you can do:

Play them in matches
Train them if you’ve also purchased those players and they’re now in your wallet

What you can’t do:

Train players you don’t own, even if they’re registered to your club
Unregister anyone unless a valid window is open

What happens next:

At the end of the season, all players that aren’t owned by the new club owner will be automatically unregistered
You can then register your own players in the next Unlimited Window

This lets new owners jump in and compete straight away, while still resetting squads at season’s end.

✅ If you buy the club and all the players from the previous owner (in a bundle or separately), they’ll remain registered and usable straight away, including for training.
