Want to dive into Footium? Here’s how to go from zero to managing your own club in just a few minutes.

🧩 Step 1: Set Up Your Wallet (Rabby Recommended)

To play Footium, you'll need a Web3 wallet, we recommend Rabby Wallet. It's beginner-friendly and works perfectly with the Arbitrum network.

During setup, you'll receive a Secret Recovery Phrase.

Never share it. Store it offline somewhere safe — this phrase is the only way to recover your wallet.

✅ Already have MetaMask? You can use it or import it into Rabby.

🌐 Step 2: Fund Your Wallet with ETH on Arbitrum

You’ll need ETH (Arbitrum version) to buy your club and players.

Option A: Withdraw ETH Directly to Arbitrum

Use exchanges like Coinbase:

1. Buy ETH
2. Go to Withdraw
3. Paste your wallet address
4. Choose Arbitrum One
5. Confirm

Option B: Bridge ETH from Ethereum Mainnet

Already have ETH in your wallet? Use Squid Router to bridge ETH to Arbitrum.

Option C: Buy a Club/Player Using a Card (No Crypto Needed)

You can skip ETH and buy directly on OpenSea using a debit/credit card like shown in the guide at the top of the article.

🏟️ Step 4: Buy Your Footium Club

Now you’re ready to buy a club!

🧠 What to know:

• Divisions range from 1 (elite) to 8 (entry) — all can win rewards
• Some clubs may already have minted their academy players this season
• Be sure you’re buying from the official collection (link above)

You’ll need a club before you can:

• Register players
• Access the game hub
• Mint academy players
• Compete for rewards

👥 Step 5: Build Your Squad

You’ll need 23–30 players to compete.

What to look for:

• Overall rating and potential
• Position (you’ll need depth!)
• Age (players retire the season after turning 32)
• Traits like stamina and leadership

You can:

• Buy players instantly
• Bid on them
• Or negotiate deals via the Footium Discord #wtb channel
