🧭 Navigating Footium

Footium has several pages, but the basic route is simple once you know what each area is for. This article gives you a practical map of where to go and what to check first.

Start from the game hub:

https://footium.club/game

If you are new, your first aim is to understand your club page, players, tactics, fixtures, training, and account settings.

Club home

Your club home is your main base. It gives you a snapshot of your club and usually points you towards the most important next actions.

Use it to check:

  • Your club identity
  • Your current season context
  • Daily FC claim, where available
  • Rewards or claim sections, where relevant
  • Alerts or important prompts

The daily FC claim is worth checking regularly. It is not designed to solve every spending need, but across a season it can help with stadium or facility progress.

Players page

The Players page is where you review your squad. Player cards and profiles show important information such as age, position ratings, potential, stamina, leadership, condition, and status icons.

Pay attention to:

  • Age: Players retire after their playing career ends at age 32, with their last playing season at 31
  • Positions: A player has ratings across positions, not just one role
  • Potential: Training uses potential, so players with remaining potential can still develop
  • Stamina: Higher stamina helps a player lose condition less quickly in matches
  • Leadership: Useful when choosing a captain
  • Condition: Low condition increases injury risk after matches
  • Status icons: These can show injury, suspension, retirement, training, or matchday involvement

A good manager checks player availability before setting tactics or starting training.

Tactics page

The Tactics page is one of the most important areas. This is where you set your starting line-up, substitutes, formation, mentality, and captain.

Before every match, check:

  1. Every required position is filled
  2. No injured or suspended players are selected
  3. Players are not badly out of position
  4. Your substitutes cover likely problem areas
  5. Your captain has strong leadership
  6. Your mentality suits the match

Chemistry matters. Players used in familiar positions help your team, while too many players in weak positions can reduce performance. Green and light green positional fits are generally safer than yellow, orange, or red.

Fixtures and live matches

The Fixtures page shows your match schedule. Each club usually plays one league match per day during the season.

Matches are live and usually last around 30 minutes. During a match, go to the match view and use the Manage tab if you want to make changes.

Live management can include:

  • Up to three substitutions
  • Formation changes
  • Mentality changes
  • Moving players around the pitch
  • Changing captain

Changes must be submitted and take a few in-game minutes to apply. You cannot queue changes, but you can submit multiple changes together.

Training

Training is where you improve players using their unlocked potential. It can help you build specialists, flexible all-rounders, or steadily improve squad depth.

Training costs condition and takes time. A player in training is unavailable for matches and the bench until training is complete. Players who finish training at low condition may risk injury, so do not train without checking your fixture timing and squad depth.

Coaching is an enhanced form of training that uses coaching sessions. Coaching sessions can be bought in the store and are attached to the club.

Academy

For Club Owners, the academy is a major long-term system. It provides prospects each season and includes facilities that can be upgraded with FC.

The Academy tab is split into:

  • Prospects: View and sign academy players
  • Facilities: Upgrade academy buildings
  • Scouting: Set recruitment priorities

Academy facilities can affect prospect rating floors, potential floors, stamina, leadership, intake size, rare prospect chances, positions, and national or regional focus.

Transfer Market

Club Owners can use the Transfer Market to buy and sell players. Always check whether a player is registered or unregistered before buying. Unregistered players, often called free agents, can usually be registered immediately. Registered players may not be usable until the next suitable registration window.

Use the in-game Transfer Market for the most accurate registration status.

Account and notifications

Manager Settings are here:

Use this page to set your manager name, verify email, choose display currency, and manage email preferences.

Notifications appear in the top navigation bar and can include FC earned, purchases, coach assignments, and reasons you earned 0 FC from a match.
